In every sense of the word, Viento strives to show the quality and diversity of food products raised close to our home in the amazing Columbia River Gorge. Check the menu. Check the flavor. We serve locally grown lamb, fruits and vegetables, natural beef and chicken, organic juices and Gorge wines and microbrews. It's the taste of the place we love.
Tables in our dining room are made from kirei, a sustainable Japanese building product made from sorghum stalks. Enjoy a beverage, a meal or both in our bar area. It's a great, casual way to enjoy good food and the fun, emerging downtown scene in Bingen. Our style is closest to a bistro atmosphere, with international flavors. Proprietors Kathy and Stu Watson both grew up on the West Coast, and Stu spent years as a Navy brat in Japan and Guam. They are both influenced by the Mexican and Asian foods common on the West Coast. |
