Antiques & Oddities, WA

Bingen, WA is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the Columbia River Gorge and to the original Antiques and Oddities. The cameo glass lamps in the storefront window and quaint wagon wheel over the sign give no hint of the mind-boggling variety of….well...antiques and oddities inside.

You’ll find vintage dishware, tools, handbags, costume jewelry and other collectibles from the most traditional to the most bizarre. Victorian leaded glass windows, English enamel signs, military and tribal weaponry sit amid British colonial cabinetry from India and Java.

The basement is stacked to the rafters with local and imported furniture. Welsh wardrobes and Hungarian hutches vie for space with Chinese and Indian curiosities tucked away in mysterious corners.
For Gorge history buffs and newcomers to this culturally rich area, the store is a veritable museum. Full of local memorabilia, old area photographs and Native American artifacts, we also boast one of the best local collections of regional native basketry and beadwork, with Klickitat, Wasco, Salish and Tlingkit tribes represented, among others.

Located right on Highway 14, this 12,000 sq foot shop with a recently added coffee shop and café is both a roadside respite and a destination for those in the know.
